Chemistry at MU is an exciting and dynamic field with exceptional career opportunities. Share the thrill of discovery with our faculty as together we explore the realm of chemistry. Through our degree program, you can prepare for graduate study, professional school or direct entry into the workplace.
Most chemistry majors continue their education in the best graduate schools or professional schools in the country. Many of our graduates are now physicians or have teaching and research careers at universities and colleges. Other graduates are managers in industry and specialists in their fields.
Below is a brief description of each sub-menu listed for the undergraduate program.
The Degrees menu contains information about each of the degree programs for chemistry. Included are sample programs of study and the on-line graduation plan is found here. It also includes information about the chemistry minor.
