Van Ho has had a long-standing interest in understanding the mechanisms as well as identifying and developing new agents of diagnostics and therapeutics for the treatment of cancer and inflammation. For the last 5 years, her research has been focused on the identification and characterization of nutraceutical agents from natural resources and their biological functions for potential applications in pharmaceuticals. More recently, Dr. Ho has focused on developing novel molecular imaging agents for multimodality imaging of disease and molecular targeted therapeutics for precision medicine.
